Our Long Day Out

Today started with Miss Camber waking early, now she does not like to come wake me up so she will get Nana to do it for her, she is so silly.

Ok so after getting up, Nana gave her breakfast as I went to the grocery store to get more cereal and some cinnamon rolls.  Bubba and Ci Ci were waking up at this point.  I get back with all the goodies. And I am told we are going to the flea market today!  Yay last time Camber went she was still a little baby.

On our way we stop at two pawn shops and the salvation army, we are looking for an electric leaf blower for Nana.
Back on the road again and we driving along and someone has the great idea that fresh, hot donuts are in order! (apparently we all needed a sugar rush). So we whip into Krispy Kreme, now when they say fresh and hot they are not kidding we burned our fingers trying to eat one!

Back to driving to the flea market, we finally arrive and park.  First thing we check out is of course the animals, Camber loved all the little puppies and was fascinated with the baby slider turtles (she just would not touch or hold it).

We then start to walk around, it was not very crowded for a Saturday so we were able to walk around freely.  We found some clothes for Camber two pairs of overalls and some jeans and jean skirts (she picked out an orange flowered shirt).

We then decide that we are ready to eat plus at this point it had started to get hot outside.
So we book it over to Riverside Drive to the Shoppes of RiverCrossing, we decide on eating at Chili's.  The food was yummy!

After eating we decide that we did not walk enough at the flea market so we walk around there for a while going in and out of different shops.

We get back in the car and head to Fresh Market, which has the best desserts in town in their bakery, we pick out some yummy stuff there Camber loves the Pinafores.  Then we head to Kroger to get groceries for dinner, Bubba cooked pork chops on the grill and I made my homemade Mac and cheese, Nana made Baked beans and Camber ate it all!

It was a long and fun day spent with Bubba and CiCi, and little princess is passed out, lets hope she sleeps in a little in the morning.

Thinking of Fall and things to come!

Camber has been picked up, everything is clean (for now) I have one more load of laundry drying right now then I am done!  Can not believe what I have accomplished on my day off today.  Which now leaves me completely free to enjoy my day off tomorrow with Camber and my family.  We are now waiting on Nana to get home from work and Camber is watching Toy Story 3 it seems to be her favorite movie so far.

When she is sitting here so quiet and calm I think of what an angel she can be some times.  Then I know her wild side will soon show as soon as the movie is over and then I am chasing her all over the place.

Camber has done great this week on going to the potty with only one accident the entire week at school and that is only because she waited too long and did not make it.  We have to work on this!  At school they send home homework for the week on Monday, and she and I sit down that night usually and go ahead and get it done, it is usually due back at school on Wednesday.
Today I got to get her papers out of her folder at school, and got some new art work that I may have to scan and post up. Also included in her art work is a weekly chore checklist that we are to do and send back to school on Friday  if she is good and completes the things on the checklist she will get a reward from her teacher.  This is supposed to help her learn responsibility, I have faith that she will accomplish most of the list with little to no arguments a few on there may take some work to get her to do, but we sure will try!

With the way the weather has been lately ( the lovely fall morning feeling) it has me thinking of October and the wonderful things we will get to do as a family!  I can't wait to take her shopping for her Halloween costume, Then we get to get pumpkins to carve, we have the Honey Bee Festival the first weekend in October back home in Hahira, and of course the best part is the Georgia National Fair!  Camber loved the last time we went she saw so many animals and ate wonderful treats there.  Played games and her favorite part was riding a pony!

Here are some pics from last years Fair trip:

And then we have last year at Halloween we went trick or treating all around Hahira with our cousins and Aunt Sandy Pictured with Camber in costume is her favorite cousin Brianna:

I am so glad that I had the wonderful people in my life to share with us these great times and can not wait to make the new memories this year, I have a feeling it will be the best yet!

Always in our thoughts
with love,
Camber and Jenn

Introduction

This is my blog about life with Camber.

I am Jennifer, her mom. I am a single working mom, we do live with my mom (Camber's Nana).

I thought this would be cute idea to do, because Camber does some random funny things that I would love to share with everyone.

She is our little princess and diva, and we love her with all our hearts.

I hope you enjoy reading about our adventures with Camber.

So starting where we are now, Camber is three now she just turned three on August 29th.  I am currently (cough) 29.  Camber currently attends a great daycare where she goes to pre-school, and she loves it!
Some of Camber's favorite things now are: Hello Kitty, watching Sprout on T.V. (especially Caliou), she loves books (she always has one in her hands when she is home), she loves most animals (frogs are iffy and so are some bugs).
Camber has her own little attitude and I find myself looking at her at times going Where did you get that from?

She does have a dad and he does his best that he can right now, she gets to see him on weekends mostly.  Her Grandma (dad's mom) comes to get her from school during the week sometimes to take her to play and dinner, Camber loves this time with grandma.

A little more about Camber:

She has light brown hair and green eyes, as far as who she looks like it is about 50/50 people say me and some say her dad I personally see a little bit of my brother in her especially in some of her smiles and when she laughs, she has his laugh. She now weighs 32lbs and is over 3 feet tall. Camber is allergic to milk and egg shells (last one is a little odd) so she drinks soy milk which in all honesty is not that bad.  She has a second cousin who is three days younger than her. (that's right people me and my cousin were pregnant together and even had the same due date)
I would not say Camber is skinny but she is not hefty either, this child has muscles like you would not believe!  She is very active, loves to run around and be chased, climbs everything in sight, and at home loves to ride her little bike.
She is so smart and I could not be a more proud mommy.  I would be lying if I said she was good all the time, so I wont say that, what I will say is that she is just like me, stubborn, hardheaded, when she is going to do something she will not stop until she does it this is good and bad trait.  Even though she can get on that one last nerve I have sometimes instead of being mad at her she makes me laugh so hard I forget what she did in the first place.

Well I am done for now I will post more later, right now she is at school and I am going to finish getting the house ready.  My Brother (Bubba) and his wife my wonderful sister in law Clara (Ci Ci) are coming from Valdosta to visit with us this weekend, Camber is so excited!

Until later love everyday!
